Great Commission
Membership is not a formality — it is a commitment to walk with this family in the Word, in worship, and in mission.
What We Believe
We believe in the complete Word of God governing and directing our lives.
Our Vision
To see the Kingdom filled with mature disciples of Christ who know the Word, live the Word, and carry the Word to the nations.
We are answering the call of the Great Commission — not as a slogan, but as a strategy. Every gathering, every class, and every relationship is aimed at one end: obedient followers of Jesus who reproduce themselves in others.
Win the lost to Christ through worship that draws the heart and a Word that transforms it.
Build believers into stable, Spirit-led disciples through teaching, mentoring, and the local church family.
Train and send every believer to disciple another — here in Baton Rouge and to the ends of the earth.
Equipping offices that carry the Commission
Shepherds the flock with care, counsel, and steady love.
Carries the Gospel to the lost and stirs the church to reach.
Opens the Word with accuracy and builds believers in truth.
Guard doctrine and provide spiritual oversight to the family.
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations… and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”
Matthew 28:19–20 (KJV)
Our Mission
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations… teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.”
Matthew 28:19–20 (KJV)
Impact Christian Center exists to obey that command. Worship matters to us, but it is the doorway — not the destination. Our aim is mature believers: people who can open the Bible for themselves, lead their families, disciple someone else, and serve the Kingdom with the love of Christ.
The Discipleship Path
Four steps from first visit to sent-out believer.
Know Christ
It starts with the Gospel. Salvation classes, baptism, and a clear first step for anyone new to faith.
Grow in the Word
Weekly Bible study, foundations classes, and daily reading plans that build a life on Scripture.
Walk with Others
Small groups and one-on-one mentoring, because disciples are formed in relationship, not rows.
Serve & Send
Every believer trained, deployed, and sent out to make disciples in Baton Rouge and beyond.
Teaching & Training
Classes and groups that build depth.
Every class is taught from Scripture and led by trained leaders. Nursery and kids environments run alongside most sessions.
