loveA new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another;
as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all
men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
– John 13:34-35

The only way people know that we are truly God’s disciples is by how we treat each other. In John 13:34-25 the word love means to welcome, to entertain, to be fond of, to love dearly.

We show love one to another by:

1. Fellowship Attending church services regularly.

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Heb 10:25

2. Brotherly Love: Having genuine care and love for each other

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another Rom 12:10

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Col 3:16

3. Pray for one another

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Jas 5:16
